Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
MURR CZ, a subsidiary of the German company Murrelektronik, has announced that between 250 and 300 new jobs will be created at its Stod site near Pilsen within the next three years. Recruitment of new employees for its sixth production hall, that will open on June 2016, has already started. The workforce of the company's biggest site in the world will increase from 650 employees at present to at least 900 by 2018. The production of the Czech plant focuses on electronic components for industrial automation and car industry. Globally, the Group employs over 2,000 people worldwide.
