European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Leyard Europe, a subsidiary of Chinese Leyard Shenzhen Opto Electronics, is about to expand its business in Slovakia. The company produces electronic components and employs today 60 workersin Slovakia. The company plans to invest more than €7 million euro to establish a factory producing electronic components in Presov. The Investment is planned in two stages. In 2016, the company is to invest €3 million and create 100 new jobs. In the second stage additional 200 new jobs would be created.
