Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Malow, the manufacturer of metal furniture, has announced that will create 120 jobs at its new factory in Suwałki (Suwałki Special Economic Zone). The factory will begin production since September 2015. The company will provide special training and workshops for the employed staff. The sources revealed that Malow has invested PLN 65mn (EUR 15.40mn USD 17.28mn). Malow was founded in 1998. The company currently employs over 500 people and produces around 300,000 pieces of furniture each year at its three factories in Poland.
