Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Manufacturer of helicopters and aviation parts PZL Świdnik has announced that will cut 100 jobs via voluntary dismissal programme by the end of 2015. The company has signed a bilateral agreement with the local trade unions setting out the conditions of the dismissal procedures. The restructuring programme is caused by the declining demand for military and civil helicopters. PZL-ŚWIDNIK SA was established in 1951. Since January 2010 the AgustaWestland company is the major shareholder of PZL-Świdnik.
