Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Business analytics firm, SAS, is expanding its operation in Dublin over the next three years, as part of a €40m expansion. The US-owned company is seeking 150 new recruits to work in roles such as multilingual business development and sales specialists, customer engagement specialists, data scientists and software engineers. The new centre where the jobs will be based is in University College Dublin. The jobs expansion is supported by the Irish government through IDA Ireland.
