Description
Operator in electricity transmission grids Terna has announced the net loss of 100 jobs. The group, which employs about 4,000 workers across the country, is responsible for the management of electricity transmission in Italy via high voltage lines. Terna disclosed its intention to hire 300 persons with a view to replacing 400 workers going on retirement or voluntarily opting for incentivised early retirement. The positions to be replaced involve both white- and blue-collar jobs.
