Bosch Rexroth, a German engineering company, is planning to move parts of the activities from its German plants in Horb (Baden-Württemberg) and Elchingen (Bavaria) to its Turkish plant in Bursa. Around 300 employees may be affected by these measures. This step is aiming at a cost reduction.
Bosch Rexroth is a German supplier of tailored solutions for driving, controlling and moving equipment/machinery. The company employs 36,700 people in total and belongs to the Bosch Group. The Turkish plant in Bursa was founded in 2005 with 880 employees currently working there.
