Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based company SPX Flow Technology has announced that will create 200 new jobs at its new production plant located in Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park. The plant is expected to be operational by the end of April 2016. The plant will produce pumps, valves, and other fluid-handling devices. The recruitment of employees (including office staff, machine operators, welders, assemblers, warehouse staff, customer service specialists and production managers) should start soon.
SPX Flow Technology is part of a global multi-industry producer SPX Corporation, which operates in more than 35 countries and employs over 14,000 people. SPX Flow Technology supplies engineered solutions and products for the food industry. The company has been operating in Bydgoszcz since 2008.
