Description
Spanish supermarket retailer Eroski has agreed with the trade unions a labour adjustment plan affecting 284 employees. 178 jobs will be cut through direct dismissals and 106 employees will be given the opportunity to get alternative positions within the companies of the Eroski group. Dismissed workers will get compensation of 30 days salary per year of service, up to a maximum of 18 monthly payments. Negotiations on the restructuring began on 11 June, after the company applied for the collective dismissal procedure.
