Description
Spanish bank Banco Santander is about to dismiss 157 employees from its card activation department. 94 workers will be dismissed in Seville while 63 will be dismissed in Madrid. According to CGT officials, dismissals were announced to the workers on the 26th of June. The job losses are attributed to a decision of the company to implement an automated card activation system.
