Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Inteva Products Salonta, a subsidiary of the American group Inteva Products, announced the creation of more than 100 jobs at its new factory in Oradea. The activity is expected to start in June 2015, involving about 200 employees. So far there is no information on when all positions are expected to be filled.
Oradea hosts another factory of Inteva Products Salonta. Sources state that almost 300 people are working in the factory in Salonta (Bihor County). According to the Ministry of Public Finance, the company had an average number of 380 employees last year.
Inteva Products, American car parts manufacturer, is doubling its production capacity in Romania, as part of a plan to expand the company's global operations, which includes the construction of new plants in China and moving its Wuppertal technical centre to Germany.
