German DIY and garden retail chain Hornbach has announced it is to create another 350 jobs in the Netherlands. The German hardware company will open two new stores in Geelen and Best as well as a customer service centre.
According to the company the 350 new employees will be hired over the course of the year, bringing the overall number of workers up to 1,600 in the Netherlands.
The company has been established for about 18 years in the Netherlands and currently it has nine branches. In Europe, Hornbach has almost 150 stores, with almost a hundred located in Germany.
