Description
French men's clothing retailer Celio has announced to cut about 49 positions out of a total workforce of 350 employees at its headquarters in Saint-Ouen, near Paris. In addition to the direct dismissals 16 people will be relocated to other functions. The group, whose turnover reached €1 billion in 2014, attributes the decision to cut the jobs to the need to restore its competitiveness in the face of the sharp competition from discount and on-line retail.
