Danish brewing company Carlsberg is to cut 180 jobs worldwide. The cuts, will affect the Danish headquarters and the company's three regional offices (Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia). The job loss represents 20 per cent of the offices workforce. Most of the cuts will be in Denmark. (75 jobs, mostly in administration).
The cuts reflect difficulties in the Russian market, which is central to Carlsberg's business.
