Description
Wincor Nixdorf, German ATM and cash register manufacturer, will cut around 1,100 jobs worldwide and around 500 jobs within Germany. The austerity program results from a weak demand for ATM machines. Compared with the previous year's result, hardware sales decreased by 12%. Wincor employs a total of 9,000 employees worldwide (more than half of them working in Germany).
