European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Odelo, a German producer of light emitting diodes for automotive rear lights and mirror indicators, will move its electronics production from Kamp-Lintfort to Istanbul by the end of September 2015. The closure of the plant in Kamp-Lintfort will affect 100 members of the staff. Around 50 jobs in Odelo LED's injection moulding department will remain in Kamp-Lintfort until the end of 2016. Odelo was acquired in 2011 by Bayraktarlar Group, and had begun to establish a LED production in Istanbul in autumn 2014.
