European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish clothing retailer and manufacturer Adolfo Domínguez has presented a labour force adjustment plan affecting 144 employees (10.7% of its entire workforce). Dismissals will mostly affect workers employed in the factory located in Orense (Galicia). A 30-day negotiation process with trade unions has began. It is unknown when the job cuts will start to be implemented. Adolfo Domínguez saw a reduction of turnover by 8,2% in 2014, posting a loss of € 11 million.
