Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The company Klasje Celje d.d., with its headquarters in Celje (Savinjska region), is a manufacturer of bread, baked goods, cookies, confectionary products, flour, milled products, dough and gluten-free products. District court in Celje started bankruptcy procedure on 20th April 2015 after unsuccessful two-year compulsory settlement. Decisive were claims in the amount of 4.2 million euro against Toming Consulting, the majority owner of the company Klasje, that were not recoverable. Employees have not received salaries since February. All 119 employees will probably lose their jobs.
