European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Škoda Vagonka, a Czech rail vehicle producer, is to create 150 new jobs by the end of 2015. Recruitment of new employees is attributed to the acquisition of new customer orders. The company, which currently employs about 500 people, faces difficulties in staffing the factory with technically skilled employees as there is a huge shortage of them in the labour market.
