Supermarket chain Booths has announced plans to cut 100 management jobs. The supermarket which currently has 31 branches across several northern English counties has also confirmed that it plans to close two of its Lancashire stores later in 2015. The company will also be opening new stores in St Anne's and Burscough as well as redeveloping the store in Poulton-le-Fylde. The changes to the management organisation are intended to result in a more simplified structure and to enable the business to ensure future profitability. It is not known when the management jobs will be cut.
