Finnish defence and aerospace group Patria has concluded its employer-employee negotiations in its Land business unit that were started in February 2015. The outcome of the negotiations is that Patria will cut 55 clerical jobs and 19 other jobs. In addition, 10 people will be temporarily laid off at the end of 2015.
The restructuring will affect employees at Patria’s sites in both Hämeenlinna and Tampere. The units produce armoured wheeled vehicles, mortar systems and related products. The restructuring will take place before the end of April 2015. Patria’s Land Business Unit employs a total of 342 people.
