Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Peterborough based Perkins Engines has announced that it is to create 175 new jobs. New jobs are available straight away and will continue to be added over a three year period. The jobs come as a result of a 13 million GBP government and industry grant to develop off-highway diesel engine technology. The project is being led by by the Peterborough site in partnership with Desno International. based in Coventry, CMCL innovations in Cambridge as well as Loughborough University and Imperial College, London.
