Description
Vision software company, Movidius, is seeking 100 new engineers in Ireland. The company makes vision processors and recognition aids for smartphones, drones and virtual reality devices. The expansion comes after a significant venture capital investment of €38 million. The Dublin office was set up in 2005. The company also has offices in California and Romania. An Taoiseach Enda Kenny welcomes the expansion, saying the investment was "impressive" and would lead to "high quality jobs being created in Ireland and will boost Irish exports in the growing computer vision technology sector."
