Description
Sunderland based manufacturer Lear Corporation has announced that it is to create over 100 new jobs at its site on the Rainton Bridge industrial estate.
The move follows an expansion of its premises which is expected to be completed in the summer of 2015; the new vacancies are expected to be filled shortly after the extension is open.
The company manufactures foam seating for cars. The expansion will double the production capacity meaning that 600,000 seats can be produced annually. The announcement of these new jobs coincided with news of other job creation at the industrial estate.
