Description

Laufen CZ, a subsidiary of the Swiss bathroom and ceramics producer, is to create 160 new jobs at its Znojmo plant during 2015 and 2016. The company will invest CZK 600 million in order to expand its production at two Czech sites (Znojmo, Bechyně) where 806 people are currently working. As regards unemployment, the region is one of the worst affected regions in the Czech Republic (11.5 %). This business expansion is mainly associated with overseas markets in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
