Description
German car manufacturer Audi is to create 4,000 jobs in Germany in 2015. In addition to that, the company intends to also create 2,000 jobs in other countries.
Audi has benefited from an increase in turnover of 8% to €53,8 billion in 2014 and expects further growth for the coming years. Until 2019, Audi wants to invest more than €24 billion into new models and the company's infrastructure including setting up new plants. The company also wants to offer more cars with alternative gears.
Audi is a large manufacturer of premium cars and belongs to the Volkswagen group. The company currently employs around 80,000 people worldwide.The company has consistently increased staff numbers over the past years. In the past three years alone Audi has created 5,500 jobs in Germany (see Audi-01/2012, Audi-06/2012, Audi-2013 and Audi-2014).
