Description
Sky has announced plans to create 300 new jobs in Leeds. The company is seeking to fill the vacancies by June 2015. The jobs will be created at a new technical hub, and positions will be for software developers, testers and engineers. It is reported that vacancies will range from entry level to more senior management positions. The company has strong links with nearby universities in Leeds and Sheffield and expects to capitalise on those links to ensure that the vacancies are filled. Sky already employs 1,100 people across Yorkshire and Leeds is also home to the Sky Bet division.
