The online retailer, Vente-privée.com (based in Saint-Denis) has announced plans to create 210 additional sales positions throughout France in 2015. These purpose of these newly created jobs is to develop the new application called ‘Pass’, launched in October 2013. The company aims to implement the application on a large scale. ‘Pass’ is a free application using geolocation that allows customers to enjoy exclusive offers with hundreds of shops negotiated by the site. Vente-privée.com has 2100 employees in across Europe. According to the company, it had a turnover of €1.6 billion in 2013 (+23% in comparison with 2012). According to the company, it has been steadily growing as it recruited 350 employees in 2009, 350 in 2010, 462 in 2011, 536 in 2012 and 624 in 2013.
