The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Forestry company Otso has initiated employer-employee negotiations to cut 90 jobs. The negotiations are part of a broad restructuring programme to deal with the lack of profitability of the company in its current state. The company aims to save EUR 5 million. Otso employs a total of 270 people in Finland.
