Description
British supermarket chain Tesco has decided to close down two supermarkets in the Czech Republic and to dismiss 102 workers due to economic reasons. This is part of a global restructuring plan of the company, especially in the UK and Hungary.
Trade unions have given notice of strike alert and raised the demand for additional redundancy pay as well as a social programme for redundant workers.
