The Commercial Court of Bobigny has declared the bankruptcy of Brochot. As a result, it is to close its three sites in Wingles, Roubaix and Tremblay and dismiss its 146 employees. The company, specialized in the manufacturing of equipment for non-ferrous metals, was placed in receivership in December, 2014. The company also has a subsidiary, Réalisations Inox Carbonne (RIC), in Dunkirk that employs about 15 employees, which will not be liquidated. Brochot has been experiencing financial difficulties due to a decline in orders from its customers in customers in China, Russia and various Middle-Eastern countries.
