European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Irca, an Italian manufacturer of electric heaters and heating systems, is to hire 150 employees with the upgrade of the factory in Conegliano.
Last August, the company implemented a restructuring programme by activating the Wages Guarantee Fund for about 120 employees, which are being relocated to other units within the same group.
The recent increase in demand, which is expected to double in 2015 and increase even further within the next three years, has led IRCA to invest EUR 10 million and upgrade the Congliano plant.
