On 11 December 2014, the manufacturer of home appliances BSH (Bosch and Siemens Household Appliances) has announced its plan to increase the production capacity by 80% which will involve creation of 500 new workplaces at its 3 plants in Łódź.
BSH has started to operate in Poland in 1994. The company has 4 plants and also R&D, IT and logistics centres. The company employs over 3,600 people in Poland out of which 2,000 in Łódź.
