Description
German stainless steel company Kind & Co is to cut 60 out of 570 jobs in Bielstein. There is no information available about the exact end date of the measure.
Management cited decreasing international steel demand and tough lower-cost competition - especially in the areas of large steel forging and ring-rolling - as the reasons for the job reductions. Kind & Co will withdraw from ring rolling but also indicates its intention to make large investments in 2015.
