European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ball Packaging Europe, a beverage can producer, has announced its plan to create 200 jobs at its factory in Lublin (Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Mielec), 40 in 2014 and 160 till the end of 2015. The factory has started its operation on January 2015.
Ball Packaging Europe is a subsidiary of Ball Corporation, an international producer of packaging. In Europe the company has twelve beverage can production plants located in Germany, France, UK, the Netherlands, Poland and Serbia.
