European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
BAE systems is to create 293 jobs in the coming year. The largest share of the new graduate jobs will be in the cyber security division; 98 jobs are expected to be added. Although these jobs relate to cyber security, the company has said that it does not necessarily follow that those who fill the jobs will be computing graduates. There has been a fall in other parts of the business which manufacture more traditional military and defence hardware and the group has sought to diversify to the area of cyber security in order to capitalise on new markets and new opportunities. The company provides cyber security services for both state and commercial clients.
