Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Huntsman Pigments, a division of the chemical company Huntsman Corporation, has initiated employer-employee negotiations as part of a major savings program that will lead to the reduction of maximum 150 positions in Pori, Finland.
The American-owned Huntsman Corporation purchased the facilities in Pori 2013. The plant employs a total of 550 people.
The EMCC has previously reported on restructuring in the Huntsman Corporation in 2009, when there was a closure of a plant in the United Kingdom.
