Insurance company Admiral is reported to be about to take on 500 more employees at its new site in Newport, South Wales. The site was officially opened in November 2014 and currently employs between 650 and 670 staff. A company spokesperson commented that the offices had space for approximately 1,200 employees. The spokesperson also commented on the attributes desired in applicants - focusing on 'good attitide' and being 'eager to learn'. As part of the expansion new management roles will be required. The company will seek to promiote existing staff into these roles. It is not known when the new positions will be filled.
