Jewellery manufacturer, Andersen, closed its facility in late 2013, following its parent operation in Austria becoming insolvent in 2012.
The plant employed 169 people, many of whom had long service.
Andersen Ireland went into formal liquidation on September 23, 2013, with a wind down of the facility afterwards.
Staff had taken a 5% pay cut in 2011 and had been working shorter working weeks before the closure announcement.
Following the closure, the Irish Government sought assistance from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF).
