Description
KP Snacks is set to close its site in Consett sometime in 2015, according to the GMB union. 103 jobs are thought to be affected by the decision. This follows the September announcement of a consultation process. It is being reported by the union that the decision to close has been finalised, although the company has suggested that the consultation has not yet concluded.
The company has operated the site in Consett for over 25 years where it produces the Phileas Fogg brand of crisps.
