Description
General Turbo, manufacturer of turbines and generators for the energy industry, is to cut 200 jobs at its unit located in Bucharest. According to the sources, the dismissal plan is caused by a decline in demand on local and international markets. General Turbo is a local supplier for Nuclearelectrica, Rovinari, Craiova and Turceni thermal power plants, but also for international clients, such as General Electric, Siemens, E.ON, Ansaldo and Voestalpine.
