Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Federal-Mogul Friction Products Ploiesti, part of the American Federal-Mogul Corp., plans to create 70 new jobs by the end of 2015. According to the sources, the company intends to have a total of 340 employees next year.
The company is a global supplier of parts, components, modules and systems for automotive industry. This year, it bought the plant owned by Honeywell group in Ploiesti and invested in a new line of production. The investment in Ploiesti plant, destined to produce brake pads, was supported by a state aid scheme.
