Description
As announced on 30 October 2014, daily newspaper Weser Kurier is to create 100 jobs by insourcing activities which were outsourced some year ago. Staff of external editorial offices and advertising will rejoin the company by January 2015.
According to the management, the insourcing will make operations easier to manage and helps to re-establish a corporate identity. Trade unions have mixed feelings about the decision as the company will continue to pay lower wages to insourced staff.
