Description
Leoni Wiring Systems RO, subsidiary of German group Leoni in Bistrita Nasaud, announced the creation of 100 new jobs by the end of 2014. The company is the largest employer in Bistrita-Nasaud county. Other 1,500 jobs in Bistrita plant will be created by the end of 2015, as result of a new line of production supported by a state aid.
Leoni produces electrical and electronic equipment for motor vehicles, such as Mercedes, BMW and Rolls Royce. It has four factories in Romania in Mioveni, Pitesti, Arad and Bistrita.
