Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

International automotive supplier Eberspächer has given notice to 200 of its employees in Sweden. The lay-offs will affect 60 blue-collar workers, 30 officials and 110 part-time positions at Eberspächer’s facility in Nyköping. The lay-offs are due to a need for rationalisation in production to achieve increased profitability. German owned Eberspächer employs a total of 800 people in Sweden.
