European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Uzina Mecanică Cugir, subsidiary of the state-owned company Romarm, is to create 100 jobs starting this year through government funding.
The Government of Romania approved in its meeting of 19th September 2014 a memorandum concerning the increase of the number of staff with 100 people for the Cugir Mechanical Plant (Uzina Mecanică Cugir) and supplemented the budget with additional salary costs.
Cugir Mechanical Plant is specialised in the production of sporting, military and hunting weapons. It also provides NATO type ammunition.
