Description
Beerenberg, a company working with maintenance services for the oil- and gas industry, is reducing its staff by 150 employees. The company currently employes 1750. It has its headquarters in Bergen and units in Stavanger, Haugesund, Molde, Oslo and Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Beerenberg does not yet wish to disclose where the cuts will be made, but aims to complete the job reductions this fall. The restructuring is a response to the recent decline in activity and investment in the Norwegian petroleum sector.
