Description
Petroleum services company Apply Sørco has informed its staff that 50-75 employees will be dismissed. CEO Peder Sortland underscores that this is an early figure, which will be discussed further with the union. The dismissals will mostly affect onshore personnel. The dismissals in Apply Sørco follow several other restructurings in the Norwegian petroleum services industry, as a result of major projects being postponed by Statoil and other oil companies.
