Description
Czech engineering-metallurgical company Unex Unicov, is to create 100 new jobs in its plant in Snina, where due to economic crisis radical job cuts took place in 2009. Business expansion in Snina mainly concerns the production of cranes and the management started with selection and hiring metal workers, particularly for metal cutting and welding. Creation of new jobs is allowed by recently concluded new contracts. For instance, with a new port in the North Sea. According to Stefan Milovcik, the City major of Snina, new jobs are very important for the region where the unemployment rate is still approaching 20%.
