Description
Nafta Petrochem is part of the Nafta Lendava Group. The company, which is located in Lendava (Prekmurska region), employs 154 employees. Its main activity is the production of basic organic chemicals. Due to heavy indebtedness and lack of interest from stakeholders or new investors to continue the activities, the bankruptcy has been filed at court. As a consequence, 111 employees are going to lose their jobs. The remaining 43 employees will retain their jobs as their work is related to the storage of strategic oil reserves for the State.
